Dawie Roodt is a Director and Chief Economist of Efficient Group.

He is a nationally renowned economist who specialises in Government finance and monetary policy and enjoys excellent relations with various role-players in the South African economic and financial environment.

He is frequently quoted and participates in media coverage of economic and financial matters in daily and weekend newspapers, financial magazines including the "wires" (electronic media), television programmes and radio stations.

Dawie has been a member of the Tax Advisory Committee of the Afrikaanse Handelsinstituut, represented Business SA at Nedlac, served as a committee member of the Greater Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and currently lectures at The Gordon Institute of Business Science of the University of Pretoria.

He holds a Masters degree in Economics (Cum laude).

Peter Hewett is the Managing Director of Efficient Advise.

After spending most of his career within the corporate South African investment and banking environments, fulfilling various senior roles in Asset Management, Private Banking and Secured Lending, he served as Chief Executive of a large South African commercial financial services business.

Peter's academic background includes a Bcom in Economics and Management Sciences, a CAIB(SA) and a CFP™.

Heiko Weidhase is an Executive Director of Efficient Group.

He also serves as the Managing Director of Efficient Group Limited Limited, which is a diversified financial services business listed on the main board of the JSE Limited.

Heiko's academic and operational background in business management has seen him fulfil a number of senior roles throughout his career, including that of Operations Director of a well known FMCG business and Partner at Philip Craib Investments, where he was responsible for Marketing, Systems and Finance.

Anton de Klerk is the Financial Director of Efficient Group and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.

After completing his articles in 1995 he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and advanced his career within the manufacturing sector, eventually fulfilling the role of Group Accountant for a large South African manufacturing enterprise.

Anton also serves as the Financial Director of Efficient Group Limited Limited, which is a diversified financial services business listed on the main board of the JSE Limited.

Harold Hopking is an Executive Director of Efficient Advise.

After studying through UCT and completing his military service, he started his articles at an accounting firm in Cape Town. Thereafter, he fulfilled a number of senior roles in the asset management environment and achieved significant accolades for his contributions to the establishment of companies such as Guardbank and Millennium.

In 1999, he established a financial services business in association with a highly regarded South African auditing practice whereafter his business was acquired by Efficient Group Limited Limited and later renamed Efficient Financial Services.
